Even though it worked on mice, the hope is that the procedure can be replicated in the human genetic sequence for good results. I think we should invest a lot more money in this field.

as fertility treatment by my doctor? I am going to the facility because I’m having weird pains in my vaginal area that are so painful I collapse from the pain!! I also have one tube and the side where the tube was removed hurts as well?! I have normal periods every month that ranges from 28-31 days. I have some heavy clotting the first 2 days. Do I mention that we’re TTC’ing? Or just tell him my issues and go from there? I don’t want to be charged a lot of money for something that can cost a couple hundred dollars. Should I go to an obgyn? Or is this Women’s Care facility obgyn? It doesn’t say anything about them treating infertility. I just want to be more knowledgeable and not be out of a lot of money when I can just go to an obgyn. Anyone have any advice? Should I keep this appointment or go to a regular obgyn? Thanks.

For those of you who don’t know the statistics, infertility affects 12% of the population now!

I have been experiencing infertility for 16 months now, I am a married responsible women age 20-30 with a great job and means to stay at home and take care of a child. This is something my husband and I want very much.
In-vitro fertilization costs somewhere around 000 dollars for one attempt, or ,000 for 3 attempts with a shared risk program.
I am looking to do a fundraiser and put half of the money raised toward our own fertility treatment, and also to find a couple in our area and use half of the money for their treatment. I am having problems finding a place to allow me to do this fundraiser since I am not a non profit organization.

Isn’t anyone allowed to do a fundraiser? How can I be told that I can’t raise money for something? I tried partnering with the American Fertility Association, but have gotten no response. I am trying to do something legit, not rip people off.
